Thanks to a partnership agreement with the Squamish Nation's Language and Culture Department, we are able to offer Squamish Language and Culture classes at Norgate Xwemélch'stn for the Indigenous students who attend our school.  Instruction is available for students in Grades 2 - 7.  Classes are taught by a Squamish Language Teacher.  Indigenous students in the upper intermediate grades will replace French Language exposure classes with Squamish Language classes. 

We are proud to be working with Squamish Language and Culture teachers, Ms. DIana, Ms. Cathy, and Ms. Jule. Their work is integral to the rich learning experiences offered to students at NXCE!
